A unique operation on the delivery of 6 tugs from the port of St. Petersburg to the port of Vladivostok for the needs of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy by a specialized vessel of the Heavy Lift type has been successfully completed.

The LLC TEF «Vladivostokvneshtrans» company organized the raid unloading of 6 tugs delivered from the port of St. Petersburg to the port of Vladivostok. The tugs were built at the OJSC Leningrad Shipyard "PELLA" for the needs of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy.

The tugs were loaded aboard a specialized vessel HHL Lagos by Hansa Heavy Lift (Germany), which delivered them to Vladivostok via the Northern Sea Route. The loading took over a week. The duration of the flight is 30 days.

Six tugs, namely two sea tugs of the project PE-65 "MB-92" and "MB-93" (building No. 503, 504) and four tugboats of the project 16609 "RB-402", "RB-403", " RB-404 "and" RB-405 "(building No. 621, 622, 623, 624) were built at JSC Pella in 2013.

The total weight of the six tugs was 3000 tons. To load tugs from the water, Pella OJSC manufactured special lifting devices, which were sharpened under water by divers, and tugs were fastened on the deck of the vessel using special metal structures (keel blocks), which took 200 tons of metal to manufacture.
